Wild Mushroom and Bacon Linguini

This creamy yet, not too heavy dish is a week night family favorite. Quick and easy to prepare it has a truly Gourmet taste. Using our  Cheddar & Bacon Dip Mix.  Serves 4.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Cheddar & Bacon Dip Mix
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup shallots, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 4 cups assorted wild mushroom, finely sliced
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 1 ½ cup cream

Directions

  1. Heat butter and olive oil in a large saucepan. Add shallots, garlic and mushrooms and cook for 10 minutes over medium-low heat. Add wine and simmer for 4 minutes. Add cream and Gourmet du Village Cheddar and Bacon Dip Mix and simmer for another 5 minutes. Season sauce with salt and pepper to taste. Toss cooked pasta with sauce and serve with a sprinkling of parsley over top.
