Vagus Nerve Deck

DESCRIPTION
The Vagus Nerve Deck by Melissa Romano, a licensed social worker and neurosomatic specialist, is a set of simple exercises for working with the nervous system. The cards help you notice what your body needs in the moment, whether that's rest, a little activation or a sense of connection, and then point you to an exercise that fits.
An introductory booklet explains how the nervous system and the vagus nerve work, in plain language rather than clinical terms, drawing on polyvagal theory. Keep it on a nightstand or desk for a few quiet minutes in the day, or give it to the friend who's been talking about breathwork and wants somewhere easy to start.
